The biggest problem in the Dem party are the people who attained positions of power and influence due to their connections to the Clintons, Obama, and Pelosi. This has allowed them to continually assert they know the secret to winning when all they do is accommodate and lose.

The thing about "release the Epstein files" is that more than enough stuff has already been released to demonstrate nearly 100% that the president was part of a pedophile sex trafficking ring. That's already out. If you don't believe that at this point, it's an active choice on your part

One would think that if you had a new & poorly-understood tool, about which nobody was prepared to offer any reliability or performance guarantees, you might try using it for low-stakes things for a good few years & take notes on how that was going before using it for obviously life-or-death stuff.

My new approach to questions like "In a world with LLMs, do we still need X?" or "Will LLMs replace X?" is to mentally substitute "this family of trained raccoons who seem to have done okay-ish so far" for "LLMs".

Right!? We have all these situations where a physical tool that performed like this would be recalled and a person who performed like this would be fired, but where with the Magic Oracle Box that's just "these things happen" and not a reason to stop using it until we can figure out wtf is going on.
we should not be letting any company get away with blaming AI for their failures. I'm not even sure how we got to this point. people are like "it's just a tool" okay so is a forklift and we still hold somebody responsible when it goes wrong and hurts someone. this is YOUR AI!
