In my old job when slop boosters would talk about how many people they could put out of work if we bought their products I would ask if they had advice about demand collapse.

So while Home Assistant may have its flaws, I am dead impressed that I powered down a VM in 2021, powered it up this week, and was able to do online upgrades of the HA OS and the application with not a single glitch.
There are not many free or paid products that can achieve that.

Can also do state of emergency declarations as year to date (to 15 Feb). In showing it that way I am including fires and floods with sever weather as climate connected. I also checked that it has all been under the same emergency declaration powers through the period, and it has.
