don't worry, john roberts says this is a legitimate exercise of presidential power and if we did anything to curb it, we would be robbing the executive of the energy he needs to do his job
Trump rages that Henry Cuellar didn’t pay him back for a pardon by switching parties, blasting Cuellar for a “lack of LOYALTY.”

In other words, Trump admits he was trying to use his pardon power to buy Republicans a House seat.

Yeah, the most corrupt president in American history has immunity in official acts and the ability to pardon anyone carrying out his illegal orders.

Makes sense to John Roberts, I guess. 🤷

it’s vitally important for the future of this country that this wildly unpopular administration is tied directly to its enablers in congress and the courts and used to discredit the entire conservative movement

The crazy thing is Republican members of Congress gave away their power and now they’re mad that they gave away their power. Like Trump didn’t do this to you, you did it to yourselves

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

It’s wild how many of the ICE/CBP detentions are turning out to be illegal — and yet in the US system, there are no consequences for the agents and no recourse for the victims.

Looking forward to learning all about how the right should move left to win elections tomorrow. They should maybe dye their hair pink, learn to love pronouns.

Vance: Do I hope eventually that she is somehow moved in by church. Yeah, I honestly, I do wish that because I believe in the Christian gospel. I hope eventually my wife comes to see it the same way. If she does not, then god says everybody has free will and so that does not cause a problem for me

I think one of the biggest cleavages in our society that no one talks about is the division between those that think powerful people must be held to a higher standard than non-powerful people and those who think powerful people should be flattered and sucked up to.

Nadia Boulanger, whose influence on twentieth-century music was incalculable, was born #OTD in 1887. This unique recording was made fifty years later, in 1937. The vocal ensemble includes tenor Paul Derenne (René Bouvier), to whom I am (not so) distantly related.

For the record.

My posts were not even about Kirk directly, but about America's apathy towards political violence, and the coddling of white male shooters and hate peddlers.

I was fired because I mentioned race: white men and violence-- that was my "gross misconduct."
