In November 2018, Riddell looked up Phillips’s name from a computer in the police precinct’s short-term holding facility. He told ASIRT in a written statement that a confidential informant told him that Phillips had been “overheard bragging about having LPS ‘in her back pocket,’ and how she had ‘gotten out of being charged at some point,’” the report states. He told investigators he combined that with “previously overhearing the tail end of a conversation” with other officers that he surmised was about Phillips and a Lethbridge police matter, and that led him to look her up on the database. After his database query on Phillips, Riddell did not open any reports related to her. He told ASIRT in his statement “he believed he was distracted by some other tasks and abandoned the search.”

In 2013 SP friends were selling thousands of acres of farmland to the CPPIB. Now @saskndp.bsky.social are reporting the SP Gov't is allowing foreign farmland purchases. Wall government looked the other way in 2013 until the @pcpartysk.bsky.social called them out. Are they looking away once again?
