York University Professor Andrey Mir is an expert on the history of journalism and the effects of social media. He has an interesting take on the inevitable decline and fall of the Washington Post. He coined the term “postjournalism” to describe its current subscriber-based business model for

Every Trump voter had three chances to think “Nah, he’s a bad dude” and they didn’t.

Twice is coincidence.
Three times is enemy action.”

Third party advocates are the dumbest of them all. Put aside their continous contributing to Republican victories by syphoning off swing state votes. They are now presented with a Republican party in disarray, the Democrats the only organized party capable of once and for all driving a stake into

Trump seeks to limit 2nd Amendment rights! In the ultimate irony, the 2nd Amendment, which was designed to arm citizens against tyranny but which has mainly been used to line the pockets of the gun industry, may be the thing that turns this country’s MAGA ammosexuals against Trump and his enablers!

Tin soldiers and Bovino coming
We’re finally on our own
This winter I hear the drumming
Three dead in Minnesota

Gotta get down to it.
FED agents are gunning us down.
Should have been gone long ago
What if you knew them and found them dead on the ground?
How can you run when you know?

Whatever is in the Epstein Files is so explosive that the leaders of the Department of Justice are openly breaking the law every day to keep us from seeing it. (Just a reminder amongst all the other stuff flying around.)

The @democrats.org HAVE ONE JOB!

ONE!

Turn Red Districts Purple and Purple Districts Blue.

We get ZERO points for making blue districts “bluer”.

One Fucking Job.

Save the purity tests for when we have 62 Senate seats and 65% of the House.

Murder mystery novels are actually fantasy novels.

@leftcoastbob.bsky.social Agreed.

So many have not learned the lessons of 2016, 2020 and 2024. It makes me wonder if it’s stubbornness to admit they were wrong or just willfull ignorance because they secretly support Republican / MAGA goals?

Interesting point about the movie version of the Wizard of Oz.
In her dream, all the characters Dorothy interacts with have a real-world analogue except one: Glinda. Hunk, Hickory, and Zeke are Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion respectively.

Not the most important point but today's Epstein emails make it clear that Maxwell committed gross perjury in her interview with Todd Blanche, and it will still be within the statute of limitations when President (insert your favorite Dem) takes office in January 2029

@nicollewallace.bsky.social I disagree. It’s easy to demand that the fruitless shutdown continue if you haven’t been furloghed for over a month, don’t rely on SNAP subsidies to feed your family, or aren’t among those forced to continue working in a high stress job without pay.

As I am one of Twitter’s earliest and perhaps most prominent literary creators (see my Amazon link below), many of my new Bluesky followers have asked me to comment on the current condition of the X under the ill-considered stewardship of Elon Musk.

When Netflix finally produces a series based on my Twitter Twilogy, Colin Farrell (who I originally envisioned as Detective Arkaby) would now be excellent as the murder victim Willum Grainger!

Executive Severance, was published in book form by NeoPoiesis Press in 2011: amzn.to/29AQwFf.
Executive Severance
, Book 1 of The Twitstery Twilogy, while a work of fiction, is delightfully full of references to Media Ecology, and especially to Marshall McLuhan. You don't have to be a media ecologist to love , ...
