One difference between Quebec and Alberta is that in Quebec, the covid vax is free to anyone 65+, while in AB it is only free for low income seniors 65+. NACI says that all those 65+ are high risk. AB claims to be following NACI recommendations but are clearly not. #abpoli

I’m of two minds about this “male loneliness crisis” or whatever. On one hand it’s pretty clear that broken social relations (community, romantic, whatever) is a social problem.

There's tons of evidence that the 14th Amendment, in addition to making sure former slaves were in fact citizens, was also about settling the citizenship questions around those emigrating and settling in the US and the children of those immigrants, who were born there. No question it was about both.

It's weird to hear govts talking about how it's okay now to pollute more when I can remember garbage lining every highway and air I could see because it was layered with exhaust from cars and industrial plant spew. Why are we going back to this?
