My MP is apparently in charge of packing the Battle River - Crowfoot all candidates forum with conservatives. I thought that riding had lots of conservatives of its own. Guess not?

Jacquie Armstrong-Homenuik’s constituency manager is garbage. Snarky, mean-spirited, and useless. Jacquie is easily the worst MLA but her admin is even worse. And, no surprise, she’s running for city council in Leduc in Oct. No fucking idea of what public service is beyond a their paycheque.

One of my favourite books when I was in grade school. Probably read it once a tear. One of the secondary characters, an orphan if I remember correctly, eat cheese and mustard sandwiches, which became my packed lunch staple for years. I foraged for a copy of this ten years ago. Still have it.

The NDP supposed to help "save" the Liberals when they won't make gains? How is Trudeau winning probably just 47 seats, barely win opposition, a victory?CPC super majority is minimum 3 terms for them. That could be as long as 12 yrs. More maybe. How are people blindly going along with this?

Transphobe in need of blocking. And reporting because they are seeking out replies on the SCOTUS hearing today and spreading vile lies. We need to step up and protect the trans community on Bluesky by reporting and blocking these accounts when we find them.

Only ancestor I know of who served in First World War was killed in action on Oct 21, 1918. He enlisted in the IA Natl Guard as soon as the US entered the war and was assigned to the 102nd Infantry Regiment of Conn Natl Guard as a replacement. He was just 20 years old. He's buried near his mother.
