I hope that Democrats realize what’s happening in Minnesota is also a dry run for what the regime has planned for the midterms.

The actions of the U.S. federal government are going to stir up an insurgency in American cities. Part of me thinks that was their game plan all along.
I am watching what is happening in Minneapolis on Ali Velshi and one of the ICE officers (off camera) literally says, “It’s like Call of Duty. Pretty cool huh?” as they shoot whatever it is they are shooting. Agents walking around, guns unholstered for no reason. This is insanity

ICE is part of the government. The U.S. government just murdered someone in the street. I don’t see the point of limiting it to ICE.

The reason one of the first things they did is put the National Guard in D.C. is not ’cause they want to reduce crime, it’s to protect themselves from you. I wonder if they deserve that comfort.

There is video circulating on social media of a group of ICE agents beating a man near 26th and Nicollet in south Minneapolis, then one of the ICE agents shoots the man while he's on the ground numerous times. A witness can be heard yelling that the victim is dead.

2. Gets upstaged at Davos

3. Goes nuclear
Trump just “mean girled” Canada.

Man, fuck that fat fuck.
Canada already has a 31-year trade agreement with China. It was signed in secret by Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper in 2014. canadians.org/analysis/har... #cdnpoli #Trump

I wanna see all sorts of comparisons. How popular is gravy film vs the president? How popular is dental work?
Canada is far more popular in the United States, than Donald Trump is. Now we know why he’s mad 😂

Well, what can I say? We’re the hottest country in the world 😏😅🤣

What else is new? Got asked if I wanted to do a thing at a thing with some friends in the summer which requires buy-in from another friend. My feeling is that the person tasked with asking that friend is going to be met with the same brick wall I got asking about something requiring less effort.

That's cool history but the most important thing to happen in that room was The Primrods reunion.
Wow, Calgary! Nearly 300 packed the iconic Legion #1 last night.

94 years ago in this very room, AB/prairie farmers, faith leaders, and workers founded the CCF, predecessor of the NDP.

Today we're going back to our roots as a movement of movements.

I wonder if Carney’s Davos speech leads to more floor crossers. I also wonder if part of the point of it wasn’t to remind the rest of NATO that we exist and that we didn’t exactly see the same kind of full-throated defence from the alliance when we were being called the 51st states for a few months.

Vaccine Panel Chair Says Polio and Other Shots Should Be Optional, Rejecting Decades of Science
Dr. Kirk Milhoan, a pediatric cardiologist who leads the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, said a person’s right to refuse a vaccine outweighed concerns about illness or death from infectious diseases.

What I want is every American tech company regulated and/or taxed out of Canada and Europe. I want to take a year to let American goods gather dust on foreign shelves. If American money is invested in Canadian business, I want a hand so deep in those pockets that we remove everything but dust.

Friends, you have to expand your protests beyond ICE. You gotta chase these fucking weirdos into a cave and seal it off.
Vance: "I want to address an elephant in the room, a fear some of you have that not enough progress has been made, that not enough has happened in the political arena, that we're not going fast enough. That our politics have failed to answer the clarion call to life. I want you to know I hear you"

This is interesting. Seems to be: Albertans are free to live in whatever country that they want, but the land they live on now they get to live on only b/c the indigenous peoples have a treaty with the country they are trying to leave. Without being subject to that treaty, no right to live there.
"'...[A]nybody who wants to separate — the premier included — they can gladly go live in any other country that they wish around the world, but they will not be taking any treaty or inherent lands away with them,' said Assembly of First Nations National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak."
