Canada admitted it was committing genocide on Indigenous children over 100 years ago.

Only ghouls demand bodies after the perpetrator has admitted guilt.
Say it with me: They weren't "Residential Schools".

They were FORCED LABOUR DEATH CAMPS that incarcerated Indigenous children as inmates.

#Genocide admitted by the chief Indian Agent of #Canada in 1914.

Read it and weep for the children, our cherished relatives.
It signals to me a possible inability to learn, adapt, and grow.
Ideological consistency is lovely but it's not intrinsically *useful* lol

Sorry just saw a post about how people of a particular ideology are "at least consistent" and even if true (I'm skeptical!) that isn't actually very important I don't think lol

Colonizers pollute the land because they cannot make any meaningful connection to it.

Exploitation and extraction are only capable of causing harm.
“The U.S. military built bases and installations across Unalaska and throughout the Aleutians during WWII, then abandoned structures and equipment when forces left — including insulation with asbestos, drums of brake fluid & antifreeze, & transformers containing polychlorinated biphenyls, or PCBs”
Old WWII military sites still affect daily life in Unalaska — residents are changing what they hunt, fish and eat due to lingering contamination.

Re: women grateful to have a woman driver.
Over 25,000 lifetime rides between the two apps, so "hundreds" is NOT hyperbole.

This is courage. Her face belies the pain and sorrow I have seen in other women too many times.

She says she is doing it for the women of Mexico.

I feel that she does this in service to end assaults against women everywhere. She is heroic, like so many survivors I have been privileged to know.
‼️ Mexico's first woman president, Claudia Sheinbaum, just announced she's pressing charges after being groped in the street:

“If they do this to the president, what happens to all the women in our country?”

It's the only plausible conclusion given that he won't release the numbers.
Did Sim over leverage the city in Bitcoin?
the city’s investment income in 2026 is projected to decrease by 23%

why is that.

Ugh. He sucks so hard.
We’ve just learned that Mayor Ken Sim plans to eliminate Vancouver’s entire Climate and Sustainability Office under his “Zero Means Zero” budget. This would gut the city’s climate team and undo decades of work that protect residents’ health and safety. www.nationalobserver.com/2025/11/11/n...

Also, the caption for this photo...

Zero pictures of Renzo Geronimo in this article. Name and shame. We need to know who isn't safe for our communities.

And if you think the Liberals are honestly trying to save the post office by reforming it, ask yourself why they wouldn't replace the CEO who's spent the last 6 years overseeing its slide into irrelevance. That's the first thing anyone who actually wanted to save it would do.

This also applies to the Liberals (who are now unabashed conservatives) destroying the Canadian post office. It's vandalism of a public good that doesn't fucking belong to them and they should be ashamed of themselves.
I am so goddamn tired of conservatives destroying things that belong to the public. This department doesn't belong to Sim, it's not his, he has no moral right to do this. This is social vandalism.

He just sucks so much. And he's not even a fun mayor who sucks, he's just boring and mid and awful.
NEW: Councillors and sources inside the City of Vancouver say the city's mayor, Ken Sim, will put forth a budget Wednesday that will eliminate the city's celebrated climate and sustainability department.

My family has just today confirmed a December visit to Vancouver.

My little son's Christmas gift. He really wants to spend time in his "village".

Who's up for a visit? Coffee, drinks, meals, whatever.
Show me some platonic love, Vancouver! 😊

At $1,560.00, this seems expensive enough.

Only to experience the absurdity of a blank cheque challenge.

I have no interest in this otherwise.

How many were men?

HOW MANY WERE MEN
"According to Uber’s most recent U.S. Safety Report, which covered 2021 to 2022, they received 2,717 reports of serious sexual assault or misconduct, and 92% of the accused individuals were drivers."
November 11, 2025 at 6:19 AM
Backing this up with my experience as a lawyer.

I conducted examinations of witnesses at the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.

Many testimonies identified male drivers of taxis/ride shares committing sexual and physical assault as a "perfect crime" in Canada.
Can not even begin to tell you how many times a woman will get into my car and say, "I'm so glad you're a woman driver", then proceed to tell me about the bs men drivers have tried.

HUNDREDS OF TIMES
When men were simply trusted to be collectively decent and professional, they committed 2,717 REPORTED sexual assaults THAT WE KNOW OF. Now they are demanding RAPE CULTURE REPARATIONS for this feature being rolled out.

If ride male share drivers feel oppressed by women clients who prefer a ride share driver that is also a woman, then male drivers need to answer the question:

What percentage of men vs women were ride share drivers accused of sexual assault or misconduct?

Act now, tell PM Carney & Ministers: no taxpayer subsidies for American billionaires!

Ksi Lisims LNG is no "nation-building project". & it's not Indigenous-owned. It's a Trojan Horse for the same Wall Street private equity giants buying up 🇨🇦 real estate, telecoms & energy infrastructure.
