They’re calling ‘em Dream Dollars.

Or sunsets.
Or midnights or cups of coffee. 🎼

This is not a dis on Princess Auto which rules but was better when it was filled with more junk and totally disorganized and you went in and bought something because you “might be able to use it for something”.
Wait, it’s Princess Auto Stadium? Above the door at the Regina location, it says Make It Work which is funny because the most common thing you say at Princess Auto is “Meh, I’ll make it work somehow.”

They really are going with immaculate asymmetry of tariffs, which didn't raise prices when they were imposed but will cut them when they're withdrawn.
KARL: Tariffs have been removed from some food items. How soon do we expect prices on those goods will go down?

HASSETT: The prices for those goods weren't necessarily going up just because of tariffs

KARL: So they might not go down?

And: while the Conservatives aren’t reaching out talking about making food affordable, it’s unclear how hey intend to do that outside of “axe another tax!” which will do nothing.

Listened to a podcast the other day that said the Liberals aren’t reaching out to other parties for changes to the budget that might earn them votes. I get that. Makes sense to dare them to vote against it. May says different. She said she’s been talking to the Libs. Remains to be seen to what end.

Me to my daughters this morning, the morning after our family Covid/Flu shots: “Come on girls, suck it up. It’s not so bad.”

Me this afternoon, the afternoon after our family Covid/Flu shots: “I’m tired. My body hurts. I wanna eat but I don’t wanna eat? I want the entire house to be a warm bath.”

Maybe the thing holding Alberta back is privatization.
Just renewed my #ICBC car insurance for a year, cost me all of $1477. That's $80 cheaper than last year, which was cheaper than the year before. Public auto insurance is a wonderful thing! Here's the 10-yr change in auto insurance costs by province from StatsCan. #bcpoli #cdnpoli

One thing about great design is when you can understand how to use something without instruction. Like a hammer generally has a rubberized handle up to a certain point. It lets you know where you should hold the hammer.
True comedy is watching Dave Portnay trying to use a hammer

Just think of all the groups in Canada with enormous political power and then think of all the political capital you have to burn to appease even one of those groups. We feel like a nation custom built for conflict; constantly under threat of being torn apart. Very bad design. ★★☆☆☆

Because he’s rich. Isn’t that how it always works?
Something that’s so striking in these emails is how…unimpressive Epstein is. He comes off as a pompous, sub-literate lech. Yes everyone is so mortifyingly solicitous of him! All fawning and flattery! Why?????
