Nobody's ever going to ask me to go on Strictly Come Dancing but if they did, I'd want every dance to have an Irish connection - a Riverdance theme (floaty, blue silk shirt and ringlets), a Normal People theme (GAA shorts and perfect fringe), I'd get a reference to Mary Robinson in there somewhere.

The entire audience loses its shit and spends the next five minutes standing on their seats and cheering, me among them.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

It’s weird how there’s always moves to make fiction more “interactive” with different endings etc. It’s like these people have never seen the same film twice a few years apart and had a completely different reaction. All fiction is interactive. That there’s an audience is the interactive part.

When the self-proclaimed champions of free speech become drivers of censorship. This is the real #cancelculture on women, queer people, people of colour, workers and human rights activists.

That’s why @socialistsanddemocrats.eu call for an inquiry committee on #BigTech in the European Parliament.

It's similar to other unnatural human conditions like solitary confinement (which is widely understood to cause mental deterioration) and other types of sensory deprivation.

EVERY FUCKING WORD OF THIS.
They caused measurable environmental damage, took twice as long as they would have done with actual humans, didn't give a legion of gifted creatives a payday (That we all always need all the time) and then have the fucking audacity to whine that people don't like it
I keep thinking about all of the people who were NOT hired as part of this exercise. All the real world production crew. The actors. The caterers supporting real world shoots. So many people with real skills not being paid. So. Many. Creative. People. Not. Being. Paid.
