Trump's White House & fawning hacks here don't really care about the 0.001% that the BBC gets wrong. They care about all the stuff it gets right.

Next week councillors will contact Gardai about the "sneaky" way they catch people who break into homes.

I've now had 5 of these incidents at this junction, where drivers just decide to proceed even though I'm very clearly on the road.

Note the slamming on the brakes.

Yet again another report missing one of the most important factors.

Infrastructure! We lack basic safe infrastructure and suitable safe speeds for motor traffic in all urban areas.

If you want to get through school traffic a bicycle is hands down the best way to do it.

1984 is one of my favourite books, so I approve of this protest.

I especially like the reference to falling out of windows. Perfect.

A large percentage of Ireland are idiots, they think spending under 5k on a bike shed for a hospital is enough money to spend! 🙄

Just beyond stupid.

Talking about declaring war on city's and people in his own country, this is full dictator.

Not sure the USA will recover from all this harm, hate and devision for many decades.

Today was one of my favourite lectures, on how evidence influences debates.

Case A: 79 people died as a consequence of smart motorways (2010-2024). That's sufficient to pause the policy.

Case B: In the first year of the Welsh 20mph scheme 900 fewer people were injured. There's still contestation.

Why do some radio stations still play Micheal Jackson songs, but they don't play Garry Glitter songs?

They both did awful things, the evidence is clearly documented.

I thought it was weird to hear Jackson songs on smooth radio the other day, my other half says they play them all the time. Wtf.

Why don't the BBC report on motorists in the same way as scooter users?

Plenty of people are stopped using mobiles, speeding, no seatbelt etc with kids in the car.

But you don't see entire stories dedicated to them.
