I remember taking the mandatory engineering ethics class in college where we learned about how your job comes with serious responsibility; how software that handles medicine delivery can kill people if there are bugs or how the Hyatt Regency walkway collapse happened.

My issue is that everyone wants legislation and assumes it will just all work. It won’t. Too many vested interests. Too much need for AI to make it all work, which will scare people and make them question it more.

Wake up dead man is fine but it does have a lot of "are you paying attention? Put your phone down" and "we are repeating this for people who are not fully paying attention" dialogue. Really makes it drag.

Watching wake up dead man and everyone is right about it being very evangelical rather than Catholic, but the thing I find less believable is why the fuck would a priest be skeeved out by a corpse? That's got to be like a good chunk of their clientele at one point or another.
