1) remove from active contamination (get them out of the cloud of teargas, remove outer layers of clothing if possible)

I'm very interested to see what happens. American fascism created the superhero. Jewish men were shut out of fine art due to antisemitism and were watching their brethren overseas be persecuted. But comics was open to them. The superhero sprung from that painful situation.
It's hardly the main concern right now, but as a lady who used to report on the superhero-industrial complex for a living, I have to say that I am utterly dreading how American Nazism will warp DC and Marvel

Top tip if you lose heat and temps drop below freezing: keep faucets dripping. If you can't have them all drip, pick the one farthest from where the water pipe enters the building (and highest up)
