I'm getting ads on my podcasts for a service where you pay someone to come do chores and tasks for you. It's pitched as help during the busy holiday season. One of the holiday tasks the ad lists, that you can pay a stranger to do for you, is building a gingerbread house.

A Hampton Inn in Asheville just canceled my family's reservation because our address (incorrectly) showed Asheville—and the hotel bars locals within 50 miles.

When I asked why, they said, "because of our homeless population," adding that most hotels here have similar policies.

This is outrageous.

Sports are sex segregated so that totally average men can walk around thinking they could probably beat Serena Williams, Megan Rapinoe or A'ja Wilson at their sports if they really had to, just cause they're men, in much the same way those same men think they would probably do alright vs a bear.
Say it with me y'all sex segregation in sports is to protect mens feelings
(From 2019): A breakaway female cyclist was forced to stop during a prestigious race in Belgium after she started to catch up with the men’s competition, which had started 10 minutes earlier.

RIP Claudia Cardinale. Much like Robert Redford, she was a rare case of a beautiful performer with a filmography full of bangers who did NOT become right-wing later in life. Here she is punching fascist Brigitte Bardot in the face in Les Pétroleuses (1971).

Residents have organized a formidable network to protect immigrant communities from Trump’s brutal deportation program. Their efforts are making a genuine difference.

A little public shaming is the absolute least an off-duty fascist should expect to get.
ICE agent recognized out Christmas shopping—throws tantrum when citizens profile him.

"We're trying to prevent you from kidnapping our neighbors," they say.

"I'm not doing anything but walking, leave me alone!" he yells.

"Not right now you're not—but the past 5 days you have."

We spent ours in the traditional way; disguised as thematically appropriate ghosts, terrorizing the wealthy.

The scale of the proposed ICE camps is similar to that of the racist 1940s incarceration of Japanese American immigrants and their families.

There's ways to stop the camps - a reason there aren't any planned for California may be the organized opposition of local activists and leaders.
We have to find ways to stop these concentration camps.
