I'm not trying to suggest that nothing has changed, because it clearly has, but it's hard to not frame the Trump regime as an accelerationist project because none of this is new, per se, but the molecular elements of the fascist machine are faster, more brazen and more dynamic than they've ever been

I have a bit of a dislike for the people going 'it is a distraction' (even worse when they follow up with 'keep hammering on about the Epstein files!', like we don't know about the Epstein stuff for decades now and nobody is doing a thing about it), it isn't a distraction they have a todo list.
