We have reached "firebombing a Walmart" levels of praxis
KMBC: "A woman tried to set a fire at a South Kansas City warehouse that had been rumored as a possible ICE detention center. Earlier today, the company that owns the property confirmed it is no longer moving forward with a sale to the U.S. government."

This movie is mid but I cued it up to his interview where he describes technology as a thing that is constantly solving the problems that technology creates and imagines developing a totalitarian software that captures IRL perfectly in the computer. Real nasty guy.

Fascism is founded upon misogyny.
Fuentes, yesterday: “Our #1 political enemy is women because women constrain everything, every conversation, every man, everything. They have to be imprisoned. They are the ones that are hurting the fertility rate. They're the ones making us sympathetic to poor people, which are also brown people.”
Nick Fuentes: “The number one political enemy in America is women. … They have to be imprisoned.”

I am not "anti-gun" in any sweeping sense, but I feel confident that most men who own them, consciously or otherwise, fantasize about this very violence, and that fear of the gun will prevent this kind of dissent from the women and children in their homes.

Seems like the Epstein emails naming a ton of names, but keeping the specific actions of our president undisclosed, leads to a situation where the worst people in the world have essentially nothing to lose in threatening to expose our president if he were to threaten their lifestyles in any way.
US President Donald Trump "fully supports" Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick despite revelations that he maintained ties with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the White House said

Looking at history from a feminist lens really does clarify so many things.

Medieval historian Eleanor Janega has said (paraphrasing) that the idea of what a woman is/should be is always changing, but the one historical constant is that women are bad.

I find this assessment to be endlessly useful.

ICE has a historic level of funding — $75 billion over four years, $45 billion of which is specifically for so-called "detention." The decision to keep conditions squalid is ideological. They have the money to fix it, they just don't want to. They want to torture people until they agree to leave.
ICE officials, under a judge’s order to clean up overcrowded and squalid conditions inside holding cells at 26 Federal Plaza detained migrants on a separate floor where they decided the the ruling didn't apply. The revelation comes in a hearing today:

ICE Moved Detainees to Previously Undisclosed Floor of 26 Federal Plaza
A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to reduce overcrowding and squalid conditions at a Manhattan holding room. Months later, he finds ICE merely shifted floors.

yeah this is just something you get if you're on the ground here. knowing where ICE are at and where they are going is maybe the single most important piece of information to have right now
Shit like this is what I'm talking about. Just the latest example of someone who doesn't know anything about the blockades, understand their purpose, or see their success. I've seen ICE turn around and not enter a neighborhood. I saw it with my own two eyes, on the ground in Minneapolis.

Counterpoint: no serious person in the Twin Cities is worried about any meaningful amount of "destruction" by observers/protestors. Get real.
Friends in Minneapolis are very worried about this development. Both in terms of state police's role in arresting protestors and the worry that this could set off the kind of spiral of distrust and destruction that followed George Floyd's murder.
