Then go be a Minister in a Church, not in Government.
These monsters will strip you of every last right & claim it's ok cos god told them to

Can't unsee
Starmer, sprinting, arms above his head like flailing Kermit, bouncing off unions and schoolchildren and trans people and refugee like an old Transit with the handbrake off.

I'm gonna be that person.
This is a ridiculous waste of Government time.
We are just ridiculous.
What a ridiculous time to be alive.

This man is a threat to our national security going forward.

Deliberately staying entirely and utterly reliant on the USA for our security as they become increasingly a rogue state is an enormous risk we should be mitigating immediately.
Keir Starmer: "I constantly remind myself that 24/7 our defence, our security & our intelligent relationship with the US matters probably more than any other relationship we've got in the world and it would not be in our national interest to weaken that in any way"

i actually wish I could summon up some disappointment, but let's face it, a pathetic capitulation was absolutely inevitable and we all knew it.
Starmer asked to respond to Trump breaking international law and seizing the leader of another sovereign nation replies that it is his "responsibility" to have a good relationship with the US President.

"I have stepped up that responsibility [and] I do get on with President Trump," he tells the BBC

Spain, yet again, standing out as one of the few European states with any kind of spine or moral integrity

We need to remove Labour first before this will happen.
Britain and the EU need to bite the bullet and start talking about America no differently to Russia or China

If Britain wasn't so utterly complicit in US wars, it could be doing the same.
BREAKING

Gustavo Petro, the president of Colombia, is calling for the United Nations Security Council to be convened immediately in the aftermath of U.S. military strikes — and other actions — in Venezuela.

Colombia is one of the Council’s 10 non-permanent members.

So, just as a hypothetical; could any other country now overrun the presidential detail and toss Trump in their jail? Or does it *somehow* not work like that?

To sum up, a US president is going to war without congressional authorization against a sovereign nation that has not attacked or threatened it, and is doing so like a thief in the night, with no explanation for the American people or the world. It is all so unimaginable that it strains credulity.

So, to clarify, spray-painting a plane is terrorism, holding a sign to support the organisation those that spray-painted the plane were members of is terrorism, but taking a foreign head of state hostage needs to wait for a press conference from the hostage taker for nuance?
Keir Starmer says he wants to establish facts by *watching Donald Trumps press conference.*

People said giving him a second state visit was a genius move of strategy - really seems to have paid off.

Special relationship - alive and kicking.

This is pathetic. The endless bending the knee to weak pathetic men is ending our time here on our planet.
I have spoken with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and our Ambassador in Caracas. The EU is closely monitoring the situation in Venezuela.

The EU has repeatedly stated that Mr Maduro lacks legitimacy and has defended a peaceful transition. (1/2)

getting a lot of 'the united states is always war criming. 😏'.

yes but you need to comprehend that this is different. this is an escalation of behaviour.

there's a danger when saying 'the us always does this' of normalising ever extreme scenarios.

this is not normal for the united states.

This illegal invasion of another country while its citizens sleep is a cynical act of American imperialism.

The fact that Venezuela has some of the world’s largest oil reserves makes this feel very familiar.
