the main difference really is that Trump seems to be the first post-war President to not seem to care if Europe is in the US’s sphere-of-influence rather than previous administrations rejecting the sphere-of-influence approach entirely

i think Your Party are a little stuck in that they have to start doing some Scotland-specific campaigning ahead of the elections in May, but they don’t really have anyone in charge of their Scottish operations until February, so they’re sort of stuck with Sultana (or Corbyn but he seems checked out)
it’s not even close to being the worst Israel-connected meeting anyone from the Scottish Government has had since the assault on Gaza began, which anyone actually familiar with the Scottish Government’s approach to Palestine is well aware of
