the USA and UK talk a big game about promoting democracy but it’s important to remember that our preferred governance model for any country outside of Europe and North America is ‘dictatorship that is friendly to us’

i think Your Party are a little stuck in that they have to start doing some Scotland-specific campaigning ahead of the elections in May, but they don’t really have anyone in charge of their Scottish operations until February, so they’re sort of stuck with Sultana (or Corbyn but he seems checked out)
it’s not even close to being the worst Israel-connected meeting anyone from the Scottish Government has had since the assault on Gaza began, which anyone actually familiar with the Scottish Government’s approach to Palestine is well aware of
