This pisses me off, man, seriously.
Ive watched his cops run up to a line and swing batons like baseball bats at the heads of protesters sitting on the sidewalk. Watched them trample protesters and press on horses. An LAPD cop *ran over* a protester past month. Highly trained? Don’t make me laugh

Missing from this statement is it is LAPD who often escalate these events into violence. “Highly trained” officers my ass

I wanna remind folks that Melissa‘s dad runs the firm that Errol‘s wife works for and he does not acknowledge this even as he gives these interviews to people who have no business getting airtime anymore
Ah yes, the famously egoless Andrew Cuomo…
Also, her justification for Cuomo staying in the race is absolute nonsense.
This woman is a menace — and not the fun kind.

I am kind of sitting here mouth agape as I realize that the thing that really got eight Democrats to cave was a provision which provides backdoor criminal and civil immunity to them personally by making it functionally impossible to ever investigate the Senate
read the actual bill text and this is quite literally a provision designed solely to impede civil and criminal investigations into United States Senators and their staff. www.appropriations.senate.gov/imo/media/do...

Again, nobody has in the history of protests in LA pretended to be press to attack police or engage in criminal behavior. They just want to use force against anyone and not worry if the person on the other side of the rubber bullet is press or not.

The chief and cops that continue to shoot journalists and interfere with our work need to be held in contempt.
From the horse’s mouth, the LAPD does not want to follow the federal injunction handed down to them.
No consequences = no accountability

NEW — I'm suing DC Metro Police for the full body cam footage from the DOGE raid on the US Institute of Peace back in March.
The public deserves to know why MPD chose to sell out the people they’re tasked with protecting in order to bend to Trump's will. I'm repped pro bono by @rcfp.org.

We all knew that. It’s you and your colleagues that seem to think otherwise, because CRs are the only way to force them to agree to funding. Instead, you’ve conceded the point after weeks of suffering which you rendered worthless.
We're debating on the government funding package right now and every single Republican voted against a Democratic amendment to pass a clean, one-year extension of the ACA tax credits.
Republicans just don't care about your health care.
