The rare insane-idiotic-nefarious trifecta.

Hey guess what’s going to happen when they don’t find proof (in Georgia’s all voting-machine election!) of wrongdoing? If you think the answer is “Trumpworld will be satisfied that nothing happened,” I would recommend you read one (1) news article ever.
1/ NEW: @propublica.org has obtained a search warrant that the FBI is executing for records related to the contested 2020 election in Fulton County, Ga., which has not yet been widely shared. It’s an extraordinary document.

I just heard this in my head in a Minnesota accent and it’s the first genuine laugh I’ve had in days. ethered.
"When one fed attempted to blow off the crowd by visibly watching basketball highlights on his phone, a protester shouted “You’re watching ads, you broke bitch! Kill yourself!” The federal agent returned to his room shortly thereafter."

RAND PAUL: If a country bombed our air defense missiles, captured & removed our president, & blockaded our country, would that be considered an act of war?

RUBIO: We just don't believe this operation comes anywhere close to the constitutional definition

I generally think libertarians are like groundhogs. They should be listened to once a year. But Rand went and was right twice in a single day. A new libertarian record.
Rand Paul: "There has to be an investigation. I don't know who trusts an investigation done by DHS when they're the ones calling this person an 'assassin,' a 'domestic terrorist,' saying he was assaulting police. How can they be in charge of an independent investigation? Something's got to happen."

I have a feeling the Minnesota protester photos released by DHS are going to be used in exactly the same way. Heroes, all.
In an Irish context this was called ‘felon setting’; a favourite tactic of Dublin Castle to punish via RIC/DMP visits to employers & landlords. But after #EasterRising Irish Times eagerly leaped to print detailed lists leaked to them, not realising how this would soon be a roll of honour #spéirgorm

Scrolling through the photos of Pam Bondi's "Minnesota rioters," it's just hero after hero. Every photo includes a cowardly DHS agent with their back to the camera.

Bondi thinks she's going to win the propaganda war with this shit, but it's never been more clear that they're losing.

One strategic reason to impeach Noem ASAP is that it increases the likelihood she'll turn on Miller, especially if she thinks the admin is hanging her out to dry.
Of course. And that’s why Dems need to lean in and work towards dismantling ICE.
First no funding.
Impeach Noem.
Demand hearings on ICE’s operation in MN.
Demand that Miller resign.

Don’t let up.
“An administration official gave away the game to Punchbowl News, admitting that these “de-escalatory measures” are about placating Senate Democrats so they don’t seize this moment to demand restrictions on ICE as part of any government funding package.”

It’s worth watching the videos (there are two) in the story. Two things struck me: 1) This is Wyoming! and 2) the questions are not hard, nor are the questioners rude. Yet she scurries away as though any disagreement is more than she should be asked to bear.
'Hageman then gathered her folders, waved goodbye to the audience and exited the stage through a side door while people booed and one man shouted “coward” and “chickenshit.”'

Quite possible that January ends with more strikes in Somalia in a single month than conducted by any non-Trump president in any single year.
