At my partner of ten years funeral her entire family deadnamed and misgendered her, then all turned on me when I kicked off about it. The families of trans folk are the *last* people to go to to understand how to respect and remember us.
Do you not think it's bizarre to have strangers on the internet decide they know better than Brianna's own loved ones on what is or isn't insulting to her memory?

I've got no time for Rosie Duffield, but she turned up at a drop-in event in Parliament and that's been the limit of her involvement.

The Sun has been told Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood will on Monday propose confiscating jewellery, watches, necklaces from asylum seekers to meet asylum costs

This reflects the most controversial aspect of the Danish scheme - the Jewellery Law. The toughest Labour MPs thought this was OTT

I know we're in a unprecedented moment of conservatives handwaving away adult attraction to minors but, to throw one more thing on the pile, the company American conservatism has thrown all their weight behind producing products that engage in discussions of kink w/ children is just too on the nose.

Let's be clear - this is an attempt at a widespread BDSM ban. Porn videos exclusive featuring choking just aren't very common, but there are a shit-tonne that feature choking for brief periods of time.

What's your point?
Look at this ridiculous primitive country, casting out its sex pests rather than making them Presidents or Mayors or Supreme Court justices

Esther continually deadnamed Brianna during the call and honestly if you didn't already know what happened, you would have assumed suicide. There was no focus on external dangers or how we could combat them. The focus was purely about the dangers of how 'obsessed with social media' she was.

The more evidence mounts that Platner is lying, the more convinced I become that he is lying not only about his past but also about his current views.
CNN confirms that multiple sources suggest Graham Platner knew his tattoo was a Nazi symbol years prior to launching his campaign — and is now blatantly lying about it.

With all due respect, what deeper analysis or intellectual tradition did Corbyn come from? Being smitten with him and not Polanski seems strange.
Something I find striking about Zach Polanski is how - unlike the vast majority of those who played a key role in Corbynism - his politics are so clearly not rooted in any kind of deeper analysis or intellectual tradition. It's all just a surface-level synthesis of 2010s left-wing slogans and memes.

Disgusting inhumane behaviour.
But, of course, transphobes don’t see trans children as human, so they’re more than happy to let this abuse take place.
"She said the union has received several reports of “significant, detrimental impacts” on transgender and intersex pupils as a result of a recent UK Supreme Court ruling."
