Fascinating- under current rules, all ministers' meetings should be registered. And all consultant lobbyists, like Global Counsel, have to register with the official Registrar and declare all instances of lobbying ministers and perm secs.

So is this acceptance that the current schemes don't work?
Exclusive:

Ministers and civil servants have been told to report any future conversations with Global Counsel, the lobbying firm co-founded by Lord Peter Mandelson, in the latest fallout from his ties to Jeffrey Epstein

Why does the BBC continue to allow the openly transphobic Justin Webb to continue to report on trans issues?

This brave woman speaks for millions of British people.

Meanwhile these thugs behave in an entirely menacing manner and nothing is done.
This woman in Crowborough who took down flags is a hero and I hope she's ok.

Labour’s vote is collapsing everywhere.

In Peterborough last night, as in Gorton and Denton, voting Green is the only way to stop Reform.
Fletton & Woodston (Peterborough) Council By-Election Result:

➡️ RFM: 29.4% (New)
🌍 GRN: 27.6% (+16.2)
🌳 CON: 21.8% (-11.8)
🌹 LAB: 16.8% (-31.2)
🔶 LDM: 4.4% (-0.7)

No TUSC (-1.9) as previous.

Reform GAIN from Labour.

And is emblematic of why Streeting should not be in govt let alone anywhere near No.10.

#Palantir #r4today
The fact Wes Streeting was warned by his own officials that the toxicity of Palantir made the contract less likely to succeed raises, yet again, the question why Government granted it the contract in the first place?

Lost amid the noise is the fact that the president just tried to throw six members of Congress in prison because he didn't like what they said. Donald Trump’s Disingenuous Promise to Champion Free Speech
It is Donald Trump’s systematic campaign to stamp out dissent and punish those who disagree with him that will be remembered as among the most singularly un-American aspects of his disruptive tenure.

Trump made the mistake of doing all his shitty stuff so loudly that even the Trumper's who don't pay attention couldn't avoid seeing what was happening.
New poll: In 2024, low-engagement voters went for Trump over Harris by 11 percentage points. But now they disapprove of the way he's handling the presidency by 13. They have moved 25 points against Trump — 2x as large as the shift for high-knowledge voters www.gelliottmorris.com/p/trump-lost...
Trump has lost the voters who weren’t paying attention in 2024
The least-engaged Americans have swung 25 points against him since 2024 — about twice the shift among everyone else. Trump has flattened the engagement gap.

If you can only bring yourself to apologise “if your choice of language has offended some people in the UK and Europe”, it’s probably best to say nothing at all.
