If divorced dads whose kids don't see them could go back to dressing up in superhero outfits and climbing up buildings instead of ushering in fascism I think we'd all be better off quite frankly.

So, my home town is having a meltdown on social media because a 50 year old brick and concrete bus shelter is being taken down to make way for a modern replacement.

Facebook posts commenced. Several a day on the Community pages.

An online petition was started.

And now... This.

Sorry but anyone who gives an interview slandering a family member in front line politics is what we used to call a rum cove, if not a blackguard or a knave. Doesn’t deserve attention, deserves a horsewhipping.

This won't have been an accident, it will be part of Mahmood's plan to be, AND BE SEEN TO BE, as harsh as possible to black and bown immigrants.

It's a fkn outrage, but will barely raise an eyebrow in most of our broadcast media.

*They'll love it over on the neo-Nazi, white supremacists website.

Orban is a traitor, and this is exactly why Hungary should be excluded from all EU & NATO defence planning.
Orban: ‘Today, we are travelling to meet President Putin to ensure Hungary’s energy supply. Hungary’s oil & gas arrive through pipelines from Russia, making these deliveries the key point of our energy security. We recently travelled to Washington to secure Hungary’s exemption

Today's 70% fall in net migration to 205,000 was not one of the six stories in BBC ten o'clock news.

Ta massive assymetry in whether rises in immigration and falls in immigration are considered newsworthy by broadcasters

Down by 140k isn't thought to be.

Up by 140k undoubtedly would be.

AI objections and complaints will receive AI responses.

This is madness, and the govt needs to step in and regulate this nonsense before our whole planning and civil litigation processes grind to a halt.

And yet every senior political journalist on all the major news broadcasters are constantly telling us that immigration is the "number one issue" for voters.
If people become insecure, we find they’re three times more likely to desert Labour than if they become more concerned about immigration. Around one-third of Britons felt economically insecure as of April 2025.

Focusing on immigration is a ‘red herring’ when financial security is so foundational.

As long as sick pay etc apply immediately, waiting six months before being able claim unfair dismissal seems reasonable.

It may be a broken manifesto promise, but no one will be talking about it a year from now let alone by the time the next election comes around.

Abysmal, mindless, utterly zombified. You can't even call it policymaking because that implies a degree of thought which simply isn't present. Pretty soon they might actually hit Cameron's 'tens of thousands' target and then they'll shit themselves with horror at the consequences.
PM describes net migration of 205k as "a step in the right direction". His govt has no public position on a sustainable level of immigration is, nor any known process to decide what, why & how. Starmer is now implying he wants it significantly lower

How we beat back the corporate takeover of America:

1. Break up corporate monopolies

2. Continue building union power

3. End Citizens United and get big money out of politics

Let’s keep working to unrig the system.

Loved the first few seasons of Scrubs, and then one of us ran out of steam.
I have trust issues. I was told this was the final season but it won't be for long.

And this isn't even including the fact that season 8 ended with "My Finale" which was the "real ending" of the show to most people.

We can't let him buy himself out of this. We need an investigation into Russian influence in our politics.
