I’m seeing a lot of references to The Nazi Bar. Here are the OG tweets from the dead bird site, with alt-text. Share them with others, teach them to the young & naive, so that they may thrive! It’s Popper’s Paradox in a crustpunk bar…

This is the same time people were calling me stupid

And my “colleagues” in journalism and tech were saying recognizing this was “incomprehensible”

We don’t need to know about the secret societies to stop their worst habits

We just won’t until white people get to be centered
Apparently I’m going to have to spell it out for the folks in the back.

Epstein was a sick pedo bastard that was also a racist that dabbled in misogyny.

Black girls & women go missing in this country daily but the MSM barely reports on it.

Did y’all really think

Epstein emailed with Silicon Valley elites about racist, eugenicist ideas
Recently released emails show Epstein discussed the appeal of fascism and population control through climate change with AI theorists who have ties to prominent tech billionaires.

Today would be a really good day to try one of @skyladawn.ca's novels, because it's a serious vet bills winter. Shares are also welcomed!

Here's her self store, and that's fastest to get the book, and for her to get the vet bill assist.

This week's review covers THE GREAT STRIKE (1917), an Australian documentary of the important labor action that was screened exactly once and then pulled and censored. Only 15 minutes out of an hour runtime survive

The Great Strike (1917) A Silent Film Review
A strike in New South Wales was caught on film and turned into a feature-length documentary. These fragments are all that remained after the censors got through with it.

It’s unreasonably important to me that people know JewBelong isn’t some big org, it’s just Archie Gottesman, a hugely shitty racist rich white woman who used to make billboards for her daddy’s company and pivoted to vomiting her bullshit racist crybullying onto them in the name of “antisemitism”
This is the pet project of one rich AF Jewish nepo baby white lady who lives on the upper east side and claims to speak for all Jews and throws her money around to control the messaging and it is a fucking nightmare

Against my will, I'm thinking about that stupid Musk post and I randomly thought how delicious it would be for someone to ask him to name four cities in Scotland.

I bet he could do two, possibly even three. At that point he'd probably start making fart noises to stall for time.

Pipe cleaners have basically not been used for their stated purpose outside of a small minority for decades
Can you think of examples where people use technologies differently from what the developers intended, whether unintentionally or as an act of resistance?

Some people want to act like we have no influence over the Democrats as if we didn't watch them all flip on gay marriage in real-time
Even if you fully intend to vote for whoever the Democratic nominee ends up being, there’s a huge difference between doing that quietly in November 2028 and loudly announcing it years in advance with zero conditions attached.
What's the purpose of saying that there's no position so extreme that someone could lose your vote? Especially this far out? You're effectively giving possible candidates the all clear to move as far right as they'd like. This seems foolish.

My main opinion on Graham Platner is if there was a 41 year old guy running in the Republican primary for the Maine Senate seat and it turned out that he had a Nazi tattoo for 15 years and then he claimed that he just didn't know it was a Nazi tattoo, none of you would ever stop screaming about it.

my pet crankpot argument is that we ACTUALLY should just double the Celsius scale for daily living: 0 is water freezing at sea level, 200 is water boiling at sea level. this gives all the sanity of Celsius for math and concept, and like 99% of the utility of Fahrenheit for daily life

Yeah. But for the past several years it's been constant "you're not struggling, the economy is fine!"

I don't care what "the economy" says when a packet of frozen bean burritos is $9.
Apparently there’s grocery inflation discourse again, but as I’ve been buying groceries for other families during this crisis, often under duress, it’s brought me out of my own optimized grocery spending habits, which rely heavily on Costco. And damn, there is a huge price to pay for being poor.

Folks like to talk about how Norman Rockwell was more liberal than we remember, but a big part of that is that he represented a broad American consensus that was more liberal than we remember.

The idea that Americans haven't died—in huge numbers—specifically to defend multiculturalism is horseshit.

I missed this St. Valentine's Day post on the White House's twitter page. Yeah, not creepy at all. First of all, we don't need an authoritarian Daddy POTUS and, second, to kids who have been abused physically, emotionally, or sexually, these two words are a theat.

part of my obsessive stress-relieving meal planning for the past year has been checking prices on things at Costco, Sam's, and then Publix & Aldi's. I do it literally once a week. I've watched the prices creep up on so many items.

and dear god if you can't bulk buy b/c of $ or storage issues...

As a former public defender who represented thousands of people, I can’t stop thinking about the contrast the Epstein files raise.

I watched 1000s face swift, devastating punishment for far less serious conduct — poor, marginalized, & presumed dangerous from the start.

For nearly all those I once served , the presumption was risk, disposability, and guilt.

For the powerful, it is ordinarily complexity, credibility, and patience.

That asymmetry is not abstract. It is structural. And once you’ve seen it up close, it’s impossible to unsee.
