Just wanna drop this in here but the best date I ever had as a neurodivergent guy meeting another neurodivergent guy was playing board games together in a pub. We didn't end up Dating, but it was a pleasant meet. Having an activity takes the pressure off having to do constant talky and body language

The idea of the end to “me” is less frightening if I view it as a site-specific symphony coming to a close. The separate musicians pack up their instruments, maybe share a cigarette together. Some swap just enough contact info that they can find each other down the road, years from now.

But for real, is death actually frightening? I think it's more the pain on the way that we are worried about.
I look forward to my dirt nap, actually. Not enough to skip forward, no, but the idea of an end to "me" doesn't bother me. And anything gruesome is, as I said, a problem for someone else.
