The Star Trek thing (see previous RTs) pisses me off not just bc it's obviously wrong but bc it's based on a deep misunderstanding of Trek, the least macho SFF franchise in which everyone abandons greed and aggression in favor of problem solving while wearing bright primary colors

I backed a board game last year from club crochet which has the option of crafting dinosaur pieces instead of using the cardboard ones. It finally arrived this week (along with one part of the crochet materials addon I chose) so I have been making amigurumi dinosaurs! #lavarun #clubcrochet

There is no route out of fascism that involves sacrificing the vulnerable. All that does is tell the fascists that we're willing to turn on each other for the illusion of safety.
A lot of political influencers within the Atlantic/NYT orbit are very, very eager to sell us on the lie that we can get out of fascism by sacrificing trans people.

I just a couple weeks ago had my 2nd MMR dose as the standard schedule when I was a toddler only included 1. If like me you were born in the 80s check with your GP, you may also be under-vaccinated (and the NHS is more than happy to give you the missing dose!)
