So i had absolutely intended on going to bed after I posted last night but...

I have now officially used all of the eyes, stuffing and almost all the yarn that came in the kit. Part 2 of the kit is due next month so some dinos may get (fraternal) twins but also may investigate other options

The crew only just fit onto the box lid together now. I have enough materials left for 1 maybe 2 more, at which point they'll need a new photoshoot spot...

Got quite a little collection of dinosaurs (and 1 pterosaur) at this point...tomorrow I need to do actual useful house things...

I backed a board game last year from club crochet which has the option of crafting dinosaur pieces instead of using the cardboard ones. It finally arrived this week (along with one part of the crochet materials addon I chose) so I have been making amigurumi dinosaurs! #lavarun #clubcrochet

Been a busy weekend in Paris (bookended by flight delays... 1.5h on the way here and currently estimated around the same to get home). Saturday wandered around a beautiful park in the HOT for GoFest (followed by a quick stop by Notre Dame on my way to food), today FRR5 convention fun.

Finished building my furniture (minus a couple shelves due to a missing piece from IKEA), all that's left is sorting through all the boxes of *stuff* in my flat to decide what goes in (new) loft, under bed, in wardrobe, in hall cupboard or in living room shelving...

IKEA units are waiting for tomorrow but after 5 hours of building and duvet-covering, I have a bed, in my bedroom, ready for me to sleep in it!
A bedroom. There is a raised bed with purple and yellow sheets, a purple rug and purple walls (in 2 shades). The curtains at the window match the yellow of the bed linens. A wooden chest of drawers is under the bed. Boxes of as yet unbuilt IKEA furniture are just visible at the edge of the photo.

I may not actually have a bed (it arrives in ~a week) but I HAVE A BEDROOM! Scotia fitted, wardrobe doors put back on (with new handles and a new mirror inside) and floor swept up of the latest round of sawdust. Next week will be moving clothing and (some) furniture back in while awaiting new bed!
Empty room. Floor is a light oak laminate, walls are dark/light purple. There's a window and a radiator in view. Everything is freshly painted and the flooring is also new. Another view of the empty room, this time showing a fitted wardrobe with white doors and wooden knobs. The door to the room is visible in the corner and is propped open. The same room, this time with a new purple rug off-centre in the still otherwise empty space. There's a new mirror on the back of one of the wardrobe doors, seen up against the dark purple wall of the room.

Finished laying my laminate both in the main bedroom and inside the fitted wardrobe/closet space. Just the scotia edging left to put down, which hopefully I can get done tomorrow! I'm so close to done I can taste it!

A room which is empty aside from a small collection of boxes along one wall (which contain edging materials and leftover laminate). The floor is freshly fitted with pale oak laminate. The far wall is dark purple, the others are pale purple. There is a (currently doorless) fitted wardrobe on the left and a window on the right. The windowsill is covered in decorating ephemera. Another view of the same purple room, from beside the previously mentioned window. We can see into the wardrobe and also the door to the room on the top left. A small stepladder is visible through the door. Another view of the room, from another corner. This time between the wardrobe and the dark purple wall. Made a good start on laying my new laminate floor - just under half of the main room done. And nearly all of the 'fiddly' bits are in that half so should definitely get the rest done over the next few evenings! Then it's just fitting Scotia beading at the edges and I will be done!

Last of the painting is done! Skirting boards and door surrounds all pure dead brilliant white, like the doors, windowsill and radiator before them. The various tools and accessories I bought for laying the laminate have all arrived so everything is ready for the next job!

Got my carpet and underlay all ripped out and everything all sorted to be collected by the waste company on Thursday
