Give Mount Rushmore back to the Lakota. In fact, all the land.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

sometimes i watch classic hollywood films — this happened recently with HIGH NOON — and i think, “yeah i get it, this whips.” i’m having a similar experience with music right now and specifically the work of duke ellington. i’m listening to the man’s work and i’m like, “yeah, this stuff is sick”

The idea that “the civil rights act was a mistake” is a mainstream conservative position we can only tolerate but “defund the police” is a great cancer that must be excised from America for Democrats to win is the actual reason Democrats lose. Sorry.

Some news: This winter Team Oonee is launching NYC's first Dutch-Style🚲 parking hub in Brooklyn's Sunset Park. The Hub will provide free parking for 100+ bikes/scooters, and will include safe charging, and appt based repairs + lite service. This will make history in several ways.

I also feel stressed and one of the things I’d recommend is intentionally building trusting supportive relationships with another human being where both parties can support each other through the highs and lows of life. And if not that I’d recommend getting into the saxophone

Reading this Bouie column, it occurs to me that we have rapidly progressed from conservatives whining about having to hear too often about all the bad things America used to do (slavery, total subjugation of women, etc.) to those same conservatives insisting that the bad things were good, actually.

I always introduce chord-scale theory using “Recordame,” which masterfully explores the boundaries between chords and modes. Plus, I get to play the recording from the Joe Henderson big band album 😁

Happy 95th to Sonny Rollins. The complete recordings from the Village Gate in 1962 (w/Don Cherry, Bob Cranshaw & Billy Higgins) are some of the wildest shit you’ll ever hear.
