So they picked this Warsh guy because he was really against something that happened under Obama so they think he’ll be as close to a partisan hack as they can get without turning the whole board / bond markets against them. Is this roughly correct?

The national press desperately misses having Biden around to beat up, so they are vowing to make the 2028 Dem primary all about Biden ... and having the gall to pretend that it's *voters* who want this.

We should find a way to liquidate these companies but in the meanwhile we should encourage them to do as much waste, fraud, and abuse with this money as possible. Soak up these demons’ cash. Charge them infinity fees for nothing. Welcome to the resistance, rapacious capital.
For comparison, Congress gave the whole semiconductor industry $52.7 billion in the CHIPS and Science Act.
The mass deportation industry will get as much or more than that over the next 4 years.
There are big companies cashing in as quickly as they can. And all they care about is the bottom line.

I think publishing is an area that is ripe for us to convert from the distributor model to the curator model. That’s essentially all publishers are at this point. Self-published work isn’t looked down on bc it’s bad, it’s looked down on because it *might* be bad bc nobody curated it.

Remember, part of the reason Pretti's killing commanded so much interest and attention is that conservatives initially thought the story was *good for them,* when the gun had been recovered but before it was clear he had been murdered for no reason.
