I hate that this needed to be done, as it only means more trouble & more frustration for these poor people, but I'm glad someone is speaking out in their defense & bringing the receipts.

On the final day of this year, I have a bonus post for my lovely #UglyDogs - we went to a light display at the zoo on Boxing Day. There were so many lovely animals, but this was what I thought everyone might enjoy the most.
Happy New Year, everyone 💚

If I walked into an outhouse and there was a rattlesnake in it, I would no longer need to use the outhouse. Make of that what you will.

Because of a conspiracy theory-based stunt by a January 6 insurrectionist who was trying to intimidate children and daycare workers, Trump is now freezing ALL childcare payments across the country.

Yessssss. So much this. The other day, a woman behind me in the store got hissy bc I wasn’t putting my groceries on the belt fast enough for her. She said “Are these your eggs? They’re in my way!!” To which I calmly replied, “It can be hard to wait sometimes, can’t it? But I know you can do it.”

It’s insane that at the end of 2025 there are still folks complaining about a lack of sports on Bluesky The Sports App.
Skill issue of the highest order. My skyline has people talking about sports constantly, every sport you can imagine. I got multiple darts people. I got a fuckin dog sledding person, and not just for the Iditarod. Skill issue.

Trump and Stephen Miller are actually failing in crucial ways. Deportations are lagging behind their goals, courts are mostly functioning, and their fascist, ethnonationalist cruelties have unleashed a countermobilization of unexpected scope and power.

fwiw I have the other side of this: I think when we finally get the story on Trump’s health it will instantly be regarded as old news, long priced in
I'll say it again, as I did about a month ago:

When this does break containment, the official press will have breathless stories about how the White House "managed to hide this". Even as it's widely discussed among Bsky users all the time.

And I'll be livid (I am already furious & frustrated).
