When I came out to my boss at work a few years ago, he was worried about attire. It’s a male-centric workplace and I said, “No biggie, we mostly wear jeans and polos, it’s not like I’m gonna show up in a skirt, right?”

Narrator: “She did, of course, eventually show up in a skirt.”

Not for nothing, this is one reason why we say "pregnant patient" instead of "woman." It's not just for non-binary inclusion.
In addition to the fact that it's very much the power imbalance and legal responsibility to protect them that makes them children, it's also disturbing that so many people are willingly like "listen, 15 year olds are hot, and that's a fact." They are children. They look like children.

A fascinating flying story!
Such a pleasure and privilege to be able to listen to Captain Bob Pearson and his partner, Pearl, speak tonight! Historically, we don't get often to hear from pilots who survive major incidents, so to hear first-hand experiences from them was truly a treat
The Incredible Story Of The Gimli Glider
It has been four decades since this unbelievable incident occurred.

As a woman who grew up in the era of Billie Jean King, the whole discourse about trans women athletes is a bit baffling to me. I'm appalled that 50 years after she inspired acceptance of girls and women as athletes, so many have now been influenced to think that women are inferior and can't compete.

Every person who is guilty of abusing those girls or procuring them or knowledge of their harm deserves to burn. I don’t give a fuck who it is. Democrat, Republican or Independent or even Mr fuckin Rogers, off with their motherfucking heads. Child rapists and their accomplices deserve no mercy.
“This could take down Democrats, too.”

You promise?
"This could take down Democrats, too."

I know. And I frankly wouldn't give even an itty bitty damn if it implicated every Democratic man in Congress, every Democratic hopeful for 2028 and every Democrat who has even thought about running for office.

Down with the sex predators, wherever they are.

In the cases of queer and trans kids and teens, social media is actually frequently cited as a lifeline to being able to survive in oppressive transphobic and queerphobic communities and cultures. It’s an essential tool of connection, socialization, education, and yes, safety

It feels like a lifetime, but incredibly just a few years ago? My twice annual pilot medical exam, and this was my last using my old name. The happy smile is that of a person just days away from a new life. I can’t adequately express the joy of and meaning of a name which reflects one’s true self.

the entirety of the british press talked themselves into believing this woman is trans based almost entirely on JK Rowling's judgement of the athlete's appearance.
Nothing illustrates the arseholery of the IOC and the British Press more than the use of the image of a not-Trans woman to illustrate a story about trans women being banned (because there are no current trans women competing at this level)

Little’s 1975 trial inspired a national campaign for racial justice and survivors’ rights to self-defense.
