Your timeline is a state. It's bad banter, terrible takes and sad sad news. You need a break. You need to look at the Lipizzaner at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna kissing over their stable doors.

A: All the schools are below C level.

Now that you've sat through that, please watch this video on animal collective names.

Proper reef knot too by the looks of it. Lots of humans can’t manage that.
I just watched an orangutan tie a knot. You should see it too.

Autism is not a disease. I don't feel sick. My brain just works differently and it leads to misunderstandings.

If I had to chance to be "cured" from it I wouldn't want to. It would not be me anymore. All I wish for is a better understanding of autism in the public, to make life a bit easier for us.

This piece - about the consequences of coming out as autistic- is very important to me, and pretty damn personal.
I hope people find it useful.

Disabled people don’t just deserve to live, we deserve to thrive! We deserve a coffee every once in a while. We deserve a trip with friends or a nice dinner. Life isn’t about surviving and barely getting by. Many assume that if you’re disabled, you’re meant to suffer. No one should live like that.

The next time I tell someone about how severe my chronic illness has become and their reply is “just try harder”… my reply will be:

“Oh! Try harder! Why didn’t I think of that? Thank you. You’ve solved all my problems. Just try harder. Wow!”

Jokes aside, you can’t “try harder” out of disability

When a disabled person talks about their symptoms, the immediate reaction of a lot of people is denial.

They can't imagine or comprehend symptoms like we describe so they don't think it's real, and instead default to thinking we're lying.

But we have to live with it every day.

Petition: Commission a public inquiry into the impact of the UK exiting the European Union
Given that it has stated its aim of growing the UK economy, we think the Government needs to quantify the effects of exiting the European Union as soon as possible by setting up an inquiry.
