Friendly reminder that in the UK, you are still treated as a terrorist for supporting Palestine Action, but if you were a member of Epstein's paedophile ring, you get to resign with a hefty pay off

If Starmer decides to appeal the Palestine Action judgement, how much tax payers money will the government spend to help shut down criticism of a foreign state- Israel?

Well...that was unexpected. Shaidorov must think he is dreaming! Olympic champion and no one saw that coming!
Love Sato's reaction over bronze 🥹 and Yuma Kagiyama always looks so happy, even though he'd have been hoping he could do enough for gold. #FreeSkate #WinterOlympics

The Scottish Government has published updated statutory RSHP guidance for all schools in Scotland.

It strengthens learning around consent, online harms, safeguarding, and LGBT inclusion.

We’ve produced a clear and factual explainer outlining what it means in practice for schools.
What does the RSHP guidance update mean?

Catching up with the mens free skate and Benoit Richaud really is the hardest working person at that rink! How many of his skaters are in this final? I know he coaches 16 skaters representing their countries at the #WinterOlympics I take my hat off to him for how he manages to support them all.

It’s time to reject toxic narratives and recognise the value of those who make Scotland home.

The impact on children is going to be horrific. Apparently we learned nothing as a nation from the damage caused by Section 28, and having grown up under it, I wish that were not the case.

A court has ruled that the government's authoritarian ban on Palestine Action was unlawful.

Time to stop criminalising the people protesting a genocide - and start ending the UK's complicity.

3 years till a likely next General Election and folk like this have so little faith in their party that is actually in government that they're convinced Reform will win.
Pretty telling really 😬
And yet somehow it's all going to be the fault of people who won't vote for either of those options 🤨
Yes I know. You actually want Farage in government to “own Labour voters”

Is sad and horrendously selfish.

But the ban is to remain in place while the government decides whether to appeal 😡 #RightToProtest #GazaGenocide
Palestine Action have WON their judicial review in the High Court!
A massive victory for free speech, freedom of association and the right to protest.
A massive defeat for the draconian attempts by Keir Starmer's government to curtail our fundamental rights.

I'm not a party person. I just want a fairer, kinder, greener world. I'm delighted to see how well the Greens are doing. But we also need a strong and sincere Labour Party, and it is an absolute tragedy to see how Keir Starmer and his moral bypass of a government have ruined it.

Labour front benchers scratch their heads and wonder why their base has collapsed, why so many people are disillusioned, frustrated, furious. I mean, what is it about pissing on every value and principle your party once upheld that alienates the electorate? Beats me. 🤔

I do feel sorry for these people. I completely disagree with them but I do feel sorry for them.
Some peoples desire to put actual Racists and Nazis into power becuase the world isn’t perfect and pure under Labour are living in a made up world of their own creation.

The real world is nasty and tough decisions sometimes have to be made, as unpalatable as they may be.

Purity doesn’t exist.

Some people's ability to justify Starmer's choices and see them as canny and clever leadership rather than either uniformed with bad background checks or accepting of a likely sex offender, is as icky to me as the Tories or Reform.
We need to have a voice at the US table or we are in more trouble. Mandelson was able to be that voice with the known rapist in office. Also we don't know what his ex-SPAD told him. Your choice is Starmer, Badenoch, Farage. The other 2 are not big enough. That's it. We didn't know about ...
