Yep. That was my point exactly

Yep. Frighteningly short term thinking which could well end in disaster.

"Russian security concerns"? Considering that no one was going to invade Russia, it could just call a cease fire, from.an orderly retreat out of Ukraine and still be just as secure as it was before Russia invaded Ukraine for no reason.

trump once again praising Putin, but not a nice word for Zalenski, trying to make it look like it was half Ukraines fault for being attacked by Russia! Also take note, no red carpet for Zalenski, but one for Putin in Alaska? Trump is a Russian asset, there is little doubt at this point!

NATO dominance is not served by Dombas self determination
Good question. Several years of anti Russian bias in our news media is probably the reason for this.

Let’s hope we see more of this in 2026

Sadly I suspect we won’t

This has got to be quote of the month 😃
Voting for Reform, Labour or Tory is like a turkey voting for Christmas, popping out to buy a basting brush, bookmarking a recipe, shoving a lemon up its arse, peeling potatoes, opening the oven, hopping onto the top shelf & believing it when you promise not to turn the heat on as you slam the door.

I tried to complain about this to IPSO and they told me it didn’t affect me personally so I couldn’t

Meanwhile the silence from most of those who were so Concerned about antisemitism on the left, is deafening

Reading what is coming out of the Trump Zalenski meeting I see nothing publicly announced that would go anywhere near dealing with Russian security concerns

This is flawed negotiation methodology and likely to see the war extended and thousands of more lives lost
