This entire thing with Venezuela was about the oil. Nobody is going to want to go there and spend BILLIONS of dollars to reset up oil production. And trump is probably wanting a 50% cut for himself and his oligarchs will want their cut. This was just another trump grift at the expense of a country.

Trump doesn’t want Greenland because of security concerns. If that was the case, he’d increase soldiers at Thule Airbase. He wants Greenland for the minerals… which would ruin the environment and the ecosystem in the entire arctic region. Now that should make everyone scared if that got messed with.

So American service men and women will be on the hook to be in Venezuela to guard the oil. How the fuck is this America first? American oil COs never owned the oil or the fields like he’s saying. They helped in production. This was always the reason behind blowing up boats for drugs. It’s the oil!!
