Spoken like shitty entitled parent who abuses their kids under the expectation that they will be obligated to keep ties with her, thus it doesn't matter how shitty she is.

Been there, cutting off family was extremely hard to do, still. And the best decision I could've done.
"I worry that we are rapidly moving towards a society of self-absorbed and entitled individuals who have no time, affection or care for their parents." Letter in the Times from a 'relationship and family therapist' in response to Sarah Ditum's article attacking kids who have cut off abusive parents

The NHS is under pressure to adopt Palantir software.

Palantir’s founder openly despises the NHS.

You can push back – use our tool to see if your local trust is using the software, then send an email to say no to Palantir

When referring to the "royal family" should they be referred as "incestual nepo babies" for clarity of the readers?
The Express will keep doing this.

Churning out anger and division.

They don’t take a day off, even on Christmas Day.

But this Christmas I’m inviting you to choose something different:

Humanity. Kindness. Hope.

Yeah, no thanks.

Stop guilting people about being estranged from family members. It someone is they likely have personal reasons for being so.

I don't actually have to have violently abusive, horrible people in my life, just because of an accident of birth. They have caused me enough suffering – thanks. Anyone trying to shame me for that can get in the sun.

I do not have any fond memories of Xmas.

Shouting, screaming, beatings and regret for speaking up. I hated Christmas as a result, and for now 11 years have to push through it for the kids.

It's hard. They made me gifts last year, I couldn't open them. Maybe this year will go down better.

why did you transition, wrong answers only

I thought it will make me more acceptable in the society to be a woman.

I wanted to look in a mirror and see a henchman

Forstater found that you can have transphobic beliefs, and yet we are now stretching that bad judgment to say that institutions must platform and secure preaching of it, and that's just not what it has found.

Are we platforming all hate? Treat the racists like our PM the same way? Oh wait.
This is Alice Sullivan’s Letter Before Action.

42 pages no less, but Alice is an ‘intellectual’ and merits 42 pages. The solicitors are well known anti-trans Christian evangelicals.

Please share this widely. There have been 13 peer-reviewed critiques of the Cass Review, to the extent that academia regards it as pseudoscience, but so far all have been subject to organised censorship by mainstream media. This is the first time one has broken through. Oz Guardian only still.
Worked hard to get this into Guardian Oz & big props to @fiercemum.bsky.social for setting it up & Melissa Davey for publishing it. She will doubtless get loads of hassle from transphobes for it, but it needs to be out there.

Those exceptions she list go directly against findings of FsWS, which it's supposed to be follow. You cannot follow just part of a judgment, and it's transphobic from wall to wall, leaving ZERO space for common sense

Glad to see that someone in gov has finally actually read it and disagrees with it
Someone just posted this image of a current Times article on another SM platform. It suggests the government will hardline enforce the EHRC/SC “guidance” but with “commonsense” exceptions.

But those exceptions will only apply to cis people, not trans people.

Can anyone get hold of the full text…

So the Levy review is out. As expected, it proposes another "holistic comprehensive assessment" framework instead of informed consent. The exact gatekeeping bullshit we predicted, wrapped in "quality improvement" language. 🧵
