Serious advocacy and sexy photo sets. You can do both. And sometimes you can do both, together.

Because who the hell says you can’t?
Sex work decriminalisation saves lives.

Our fight is for full bodily autonomy. This doesn’t end with access to Trans+ healthcare.

It includes right to die, fertility justice and it includes the right of sex workers to work without the threat of being criminalised.

Can someone please explain to me Netflix’s decision-making.

Why cancel a show that you’ve invested in and that’s getting good engagement when it’s only in its first season?

I’m talking about The Waterfront. Which is like Dawson’s Creak meets Ozark.

You make a hit and bin it? Don’t get it.

Come on now, is this photo really “adult content”?

Bluesky has labeled it as such.

Reed Erickson was a trans multimillionaire whose wealth profoundly shaped the development of Western gender clinics from the 1960s onwards.

@vic-parsons.bsky.social unpacks what his legacy tells us about modern models of gender-affirming care.

Erickson’s access to wealth and relationship to trans healthcare went on to greatly shape how Western gender clinics developed from the 1960s onwards

Just watched Carry-On. It’s got all of the beats of Die Hard but without the humour nor the charisma of Bruce Willis.

They also managed to make Jason Bateman unattractive. And I don’t quite know how they managed that. He’s never not attractive.

Some commenting on intentionality behind this editorial decision on the headline are imo missing the point and the wider economy that motivates it.

Impact of the headline remains regardless of intent. And we can’t know the intent.

I can well believe that there wasn’t a maligned intent here.
Wow. This skirts awfully close to the disgusting trope of gay men as p*dophiles.
A very normal headline from a very normal newspaper.

Roberta Cowell might have been born into a strict, religious family - but her history is one with many lessons.

This is how a transgender pilot survived the Nazis and set racing records 🏳️‍⚧️🧵

What can a handkerchief tell us about queerness and Trans+ life?

Find out in this episode from the latest series of the @wearequeeraf.com podcast with @transhistoryweek.com 🧵

The tension and dependency of the handkerchief - do you feel it too?
From the hanky code, to the oh so queer cravat - how much do we depend on objects, to express our queer and Trans+ identities?

Stings a bit. 38% would be “disappointed or angry”

But 61% either said they “wouldn’t mind either way” or “would be pleased or happy”

And that’s almost two thirds.

And given the political and media environment they’re all swimming in, that remains remarkable.

No contact, you say?

It’s Christmas Eve, let’s overshare. Might delete later.

In Feb 2021 I cut off contact with my father. He accused me of trying to kill my Nan to secure her money. What evidence?

He discovered that I was encouraging her (behind his back) to get the Covid vaccine.

Any playwrights on here?

I’m new to it and want to build community in this area in 2026. Any queers on here open to showing me the ropes? Pointing me toward the best resources etc?

I’d like to make significant progress over the next 12 months. Maybe even get it up in the latter part of the year.
