Another thing I took away from reading is just how difficult it is to get momentum as a political party. It requires a very particular chemistry of events, community response to evens and strong communications.

The Greens undoubtedly have that alchemy right in their era of ‘eco popularism’

He’s managed to get the media machine that is against him (and us) to communicate his message for him. And new memberships are surging.

I’ve been arguing that while I might not like the media ecosystem we have today. We need to think about how to utilise it as it is rather than ONLY work to change it.

We need to think about how we bend the rage economy for good. I think @zackpolanski.bsky.social is nailing it on this front.

A reason why it’s important to support indie alt media working to model change. To see a narrative shift for ourselves we can’t ask for it we have to build it ourselves.
