Riley is doing okay today. Not stellar but better than we thought. Tomorrow will likely be the day we call folks to help him cross but for now, he’s enjoyed lots of snuggles and tuna and even whipped cream. Plus bro snuggles. Making these last few days count.

We finally have confirmation that Riley-cat has lung cancer.
He had to have fluid drained from his lungs day before yesterday. If it happens again (and it will, it’s just a matter of how long), it’ll be time. I hate this. He’s our internal kitten. I mean, look at this face. 😢

I have hundreds and hundreds of ideas in files and on scraps of paper and even napkins. Ideas are the easy part. Turning an idea into a finished work is the hard part. It’s work.
Writing is work.

Ideas are, no question, the cheap part. I have SPREADSHEETS of ideas, and if I keep up my current production rate, which is already unrealistically high, I will die before I finish using them all. EXECUTION is the important part.

In overly saturated Western Washington, the weather saga continues. A levee on Green River in North Auburn was breached. Go Now evacuation orders along the river in Kent Renton and Tukwila (just Sou of Seattle in South King County). More rain & lots of wind on the way.

In the new year, we will list our house and look for a new home. We were planning to look everywhere from Marysville on up to Bellingham, so of course we get a biblical flood in WA that’s evacuating and/or endangering most of the areas we were looking. Oof.
