Ok, you can stop texting me, I saw the Ring ad. Troubling things about it 🧵:

-The long awaited (much warned about) intro of “AI” recognition. It starts w/ searching for a “brown dog” but means the tech is there for lisence plate reading, face recognition, searching for suspects by description, etc

Friends, that was NOT Liam Ramos at the Super Bowl halftime show. Folks need to stop spreading that false information.

That said, the symbolism was clear 🙏🏽

The MVP is Ken Walker.

If they give it to Darnold, with a 50% pass completion rate and 5.3 YPA, I will be annoyed.
If the second half is pretty much like the first, then Kenneth Walker is MVP and it's not close.

Puerto Rico hasn't had reliable power in a decade.

The grid sends occasional surges through the wires that fry appliances.

Electricity rates are among the highest in the entire U.S.

Heat waves are getting intense in the summer, and outages mean A/C is no guarantee for an aging population.

This point needs to be elevated:

By transforming DOJ into his personal “retribution” machine,
Trump has
endangered the public,
prevented the prosecution of
-child pornography,
-terrorism &
-major violent crime.

Trump & Bondi are forcing out the principled prosecutors who handle those cases.

- Melinda Williams, who prosecuted child pornography & sex crimes cases,
- Thomas Calhoun-Lopez, supervisor of the major violent crimes unit, &
- “the top fraud experts in the office.”

These are the prosecutors whom the public is losing, thanks to Trump & Bondi.

Pedophile pretends to be concerned about children watching suggestive dancing and --- um --- a wedding ceremony.

I guess Trump would prefer that young children watch Kid Rock singing about how liking underage girls is 'mandatory'.

Until your company brings you back at a higher rate of pay, when they realize that all the work Genspark did was crap.

One thing I really don't like is oppressively loud live music (yes, I'm old. It's in my bio and everything).

But I *PARTICULARLY* don't like being invited to a Super Bowl party only for the TV to be turned off at the start of the second half, to make way for OPPRESSIVELY LOUD LIVE MUSIC.

Watching the Super Bowl just now, I learned that the tagline for Claude AI is "Keep Thinking", which is a ridiculous non-sequiteur.

It's like DoorDash using the tagline: "Keep cooking from scratch".

This is awesome but it’s absolutely unconscionable that Minneapolis or Minnesota leaders haven’t ordered an eviction freeze.
Before the charity stream began, content creators from @minnmax.com and @giantbomb.bsky.social weren't sure what number to aim for — maybe $30,000 or $50,000.

Within 15 minutes, they raised $58,000 for local food pantry VEAP. Within an hour, $100,000.
