Real convo btwn and my 6 year old son:

Him: Dad, they say what happened to Amelia Earhart is a mystery, but that’s not true.
Me: Of course it is buddy. It’s one of the big mysteries.
Him: No, I know what happened to her.
Me: How? Nobody knows.
Him: She disappeared in 1937, Dad. She’s dead, Dad.

Dodgers broadcast was discussing the science behind the perception of time between children and adults. After hearing the explanation, the color commentator pauses and asks, "Am I gonna feel any better?"

Andy Pages then smashes a dinger into space, thus ending the existential crisis on commentary.

I’m a public librarian in a degenerating democracy, and I am pleading: Care about your library. Use it. See what programs and events it offers. And pay attention to its governing body. See who the trustees are. Consider running yourself. Libraries will need all the community support they can get. 📚

A production of Cats is coming to town. Might buy a ticket so I can say, "Go on, git," at the Cats. On the other hand, I might just leave the Cats be. We'll see how it goes.
