I understand y'all hav valid reasons to despise some of our leaders.

But using abelist language or making fun of age, disabilities, bodies, injuries, etc. is gonna be an instant block for me.

Criticize policies, choices and deliberate behaviors.

Stop spreading hate & shame.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Speaking as a northeast Ohioan, you need to read Kent State by @derfbackderf.bsky.social - haunting history of that tragedy that has empathy for all involved except for those in power. I don't think it's hyperbole to say we are living through this again as a nation.
Pretty sure more than half of the people living around Kent State University thought the students at Kent State were dirty hippies and "needed to go back to class," etc.
It's worth remembering that even AFTER Nixon resigned, roughly 30% of Americans thought he'd been treated very unfairly and was the victim of a left wing "witch hunt" coordinated by Democrats and a liberal media who hated the "real Americans" in the "silent majority." bsky.app/profile/seth...

Quite frankly, my dear, idc if they voted for it or not. At the very least either a) they were willfully ignorant or b) accepted the risk. And either of those mean they have work to do before I can trust them with my safety and well-being ⬇️
Seriously, folks, people did NOT vote for murder on the streets. A majority of those who voted went for Trump, and to win power, those against Trump will have to win many of them over, not reject them all as people who want fascism.
