Brighton in 14th just 2pts above us now. Happy to see the table looking a little more favourable immediately above us now. 👌🏽💛💙 The hunt for a midtable finish continues…😀MOT #LUFC

What a lovely response to the Arsenal game! If a few other results go our way this weekend, things could look quite good by the end of the weekend!

But, you know, Justin Trudeau and the Liberals killed Alberta's oil industry.

I love that this post came out:

1) After the window had closed.
2) After Kalvin Phillips has signed for Sheffield United.

Brutal game, but at least it wasn't 5-0 this time. That would have been demoralizing. 😉

Full time: 0-4. Was always going to be really difficult. Arsenal quality shone through across the 90 minutes, even if a few of the goals were preventable. Only two losses in 11, but could drop to 17th tomorrow ahead of Friday's big showdown. #lufc

For example, the Great Bear Rainforest has generated $1.77 billion in economic activity for B.C. since its inception in 2008.

For every dollar of direct investment, the protected area has generated $5.61 in revenue in sectors like eco-tourism, fisheries and manufacturing.

Job creation, tax revenue, small business support: why don’t B.C. politicians value the economic benefits of environmental protection?

Recognising 26 January as a day of invasion is not about division, but about respect, honesty and connection.

It is about acknowledging the truth that sovereignty was never ceded.

This always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

So rarely hear the phrase “legitimate concerns” being used with climate change protestors, hunger striking peace activists, trans people who want to live without fear, and on and on
For so long , many who could have challenged bigotry & bullying have bowed down meekly to the notion of “but these people have legitimate concerns” - at the same time they have found it easy to attack and belittle progressiveness - still the cowardly kids that cheer the bully

This. A million bazillion percent. It's everything that is wrong with the federal granting agencies.
Scientists at Canadian institutions have long punched well above our weight despite low and stagnant funding. Spending a billion dollars on external recruitment while science here is starving is exactly what Harper got wrong about supporting research excellence in Canada.
Canada’s new government is investing big to attract world-class talent in science and technology — and become an innovation powerhouse.

As someone who cares deeply about nature, climate and the environment more broadly, I'm feeling completely abandoned by the federal government right now.

Their actions really have been ugly.
Ugly sweaters are fun—a pattern of extinct species, wildfires & polluted air isn’t. Canada’s nature gives us clean water, air & jobs. We must act now to protect it.
