@LUFC fan.

Opinions expressed are only my own.
I'm a middle aged dude raising a toddler so I'll admit that I don't know a lot about what's cool, but even I can see that TikTok isn't cool anymore.

Nice! I've got a similar vintage shirt that my uncle won at a charity auction and gave me.

Stoked to be able to celebrate this signing by putting on my Stachhat.

This is a reference that requires you to be a Leeds United supporter who grew up in Australia no later than the 80's.

What I'm saying is that the audience for this post is basically just me, but I'm sharing it anyway.

This is some great advertising from @bigagnes.bsky.social here and works really well for an outdoor gear brand.

Interestingly, I'm not actually sure it would work very well for environmental organizations working to protect and defend public lands, so I'm glad companies like this are out there!

Anyone who drops by our house is welcome to try and yes, I will absolutely be entertained by any outcome.

According to the US Government, one of these pictures shows victims of a genocide.

I don't know what else to say?

People are currently being arrested at Columbia University in New York for a non-violent sit in, to protest the genocide of the Palestinian people by the Israeli government and military.

God only knows the damage these furry friends are causing under our deck, but they're way too adorable to evict.

This seems suspicious. Is he actually good, and has just been pretending he's rubbish till the price got settled?

I'm all for knocking the NY Times, but I see stronger language. It's possible they changed it:

This episode of the Simpsons feels more and more prescient every day.

OK, but this is exactly the same thing his apologizers kept saying pre-election after he spoke about some of the heinous things that Trump has since done and they're now working hard to justify.

I'm not American, so this is really easy to say, but:

Even if the Republicans will be able to use a shutdown to do things that hurt people, being complicit in a lesser evil (especially one that tears down democracy) is still not the right answer.

Maybe the damage is what people need to see.

Today @cpaws-snap.bsky.social published a paid op-ed in the National Post. It speaks to the importance of protecting nature, and why conservation needs to remain apolitical, even in these challenging times.

I hope the image has uploaded well enough to be readable, because I think it's quite good.

We haven't even announced retaliatory tariffs yet, and they're already working.

I think ads are only covering up 80% of this article.

Do better @yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk! With a little more effort, surely you could get it as high as 95% advertising, with one line of text?

Is this how you afford Harry Potter adventures, @grahamsmyth.bsky.social?

Scrolling down the list of gift ideas for toddlers aged 1 - 2, past more work out equipment, smart watches and luggage, you do eventually get to an actual toy... a hotwheels Mario Kart Rainbow Track, which includes, right in the description: "ages 4+".

My friends at CPAWS Yukon are holding an online auction to raise funds for their important work. Many items can be shipped across Canada, including these beautiful mittens, made with deer hide & rabbit fur by Karen Nicloux.

You can find the full auction here:
