That was a very mature second half. Must admit though, I was utterly convinced initially that Gudmundsson had given a penalty away right at the end. #lufc

Rode our luck a little. Need to sort out our left, Frimpong is giving us kittens every time he gets the ball. Justin has looked decent. Bournaaw solid. Nothing really sticking with Nmecha to relieve the pressure or bring others in to play. DCL to come on at around 60?

And that's another year on the NordicTrack bike in the bag. This years stats:

202 workouts
97 hrs 19 mins total time
2,316 km
61,197 calories burned
45.7 km of elevation gain

Quite happy with that.

Ok here it is - out of 44 FDA approvals this year, 31 are small molecules (70%), 26 of those are oral drugs (84%), 22 of them are chiral (71%). This is the largest number and percentage of chiral FDA approved molecules in a single year. Fitusiran is not a small molecule, bonus.

And if you look at, for example Saskatchewan under NDP vs Tory governments, there's over 50 years of evidence the same applies in Canada
Republicans claim they’re better for the economy, but it hasn't been true for a century. Don't fall for it. They're better for the wealthy and that's it.

Clear skies, quiet ocean view off the deck, although a little chilly. Definitely a lull between yesterdays 15cm of snow, and tonights 25cm. Might even see if I can motivate Mrs B. for a Boxing Day stroll around the block

Well this was nice to wake up to. 15-20 cm overnight snow. Shovelling it all away before the subsequent rain turned it all in to ice was less nice. And joy, another 20-25cm coming tomorrow night. At least it's an excuse to thoroughly sample the rum collection Santa brought me.

Reading between the lines, there's apparently a non-disclosure agreement in place, this is pretty damning of the performative culture of the senior leadership.

Happy Holidays to my LUFC, music, academia, and "they seem like they're not a c**t", bsky hive.

Quick lunch break here, then back out to finish shovelling last night's snowfall, then should be time for a snooze. (judging by the forecast that cycle is going to be on repeat for next couple of days)
