It's not just that these professional politics observers somehow failed to spot the obvious rise of American nativist thuggery.
It's how much energy they devoted to arguing the real problem was the volume, tone, and vocabulary of those raising the alarm about it.

Every single one of these guys wants us to believe these shootings were SWAT busting into a darkened apartment in a hostage situation when we can all see it's a Mall Cop murdering people in the middle of the street.

As a matter of practical reality, the idea that the minute Trump invokes the Insurrection Act all resistance is futile, Trump has won, Game Over is nonsense. That’s just regime propaganda. Let us not perpetuate it. Make them earn every inch of creeping authoritarianism.

They have not earned the benefit of the doubt.
Feels like given DHS making up stories about what we can plainly see in the murder videos, we have to just presume every other death under their purview is also murder.
