People tend to assume this map is meant to be a boycott guide. It isn't.

What it is:
• A tool for understanding the scale of ICE’s corporate ecosystem and how it extends into our communities
• A starting point for strategic, targeted organizing

At least 6 people died in ICE custody in the first 2 weeks of the year. At this rate, 2026 could see over 150 in-custody deaths.

To be clear, this isn't just about more people being held in detention facilities. The increase in the death rate is outpacing the increase in the detained population.

It’s ironic that they’re like “if we do ethnic cleansing we’ll have a high trust neighborly society” and then Minneapolis is literally doing high trust neighborly society and they’re like nooooo
Many Americans are terrible neighbors to each other, and that is why MN is striking everyone as extraordinary activism... when they are telling us that it is not. They're good neighbors!

It's no wonder that "being a shitty neighbor" is the hallmark of our domestic politics and our foreign policy.

These are people who *only* understand force.
Haven’t seen much mention of this, but in this clip of DHS agents from last week, an observer tells a DHS agent he has seen officers run red lights and says they aren’t “above the law.”

In response, you can hear the agent say (twice): “We are the law.”

In the last 18 days alone:

- Two men in ICE custody have killed themselves (jails are supposed to protect against this)
- Two men died of cardiac-related issues
- One man was reportedly choked to death by a guard
- One man died of fentanyl withdrawal (family question the medical care provided)
A third immigrant held at Camp East Montana has died, reportedly by suicide. Victor Manuel Díaz was detained in Minnesota. He is the sixth migrant to die since Jan. 1 in ICE detention.

Noem's claim is FALSE. Here is ICE's own data on the detention population among those arrested by ICE:

- 43% no criminal record (up from 6% at the start of the year),
- 29% at least one prior conviction*
- 28% at least one pending charge

*most common are traffic and immigration offenses.
