When they woke me up in covid ICU after the ventilator coma, I spent the next 3 days awake, not even a nap. At some point I started to hallucinate Beyoncé, but I had read about ICU delirium and decided to watch the hallucinations as entertainment, because I knew they were not real and I was bored.
My bio mom is in the hospital right now for a COPD flare up and one of my spicy medical takes is that we have a lot research about how sleep deprivation is horrible for health and recovery but somehow this is totally ignored in clinical situations and waking you up every two hours is fine

I think this needs to be combined with an article in WaPo maybe a few years back about white people moving out of school districts if they become "too" Asian cause they didn't want to compete academically with them.
The fact that it at least anecdotally seems to be a semi-regular practice to tell white people a minority got the job in order to soften the blow of rejection really should put the elite woke panic into perspective.

Isn't there a law that defines that? In Brazil this is defined by law. Regulatory agencies are, by the Constitution, administratively & financially autonomous entities, created by specific law that establishes their inner working. You'd only ask to discover if the other person KNOWS.
