Back in the old days, we used to call this a purge. Firing all your senior leaders at NIH? It's a purge. Just call it what it is.
More news (not good) from NIH

The renewal request from National Institute of Neurological Diseases and Stroke Director Walter Koroshetz has been denied.

I guess the NIH_leadership™ needed another position to fill with their time-tested recruitment process.

If anything the crime has been underplayed. They knew these men were mostly innocent. They knew they’d be tortured. They sent them to CECOT not out of recklessness but because they thought it would enjoyable for their supporters to see innocent Latinos tortured. An intentional crime of violence.

But Republican cuts are jeopardizing that work to fund tax cuts for the rich. They need stop the grift and start supporting Minnesotans.

Truly disgusting that Republicans in congress perpetually attack those most needy & least able to defend themselves while providing tax breaks to the top .1%. The Trump regime has used hunger as a weapon. Inexcusable. Trump dines in luxury while seniors, kids, disabled struggle for next meal.
Once again, the Trump Administration is threatening to let the needy go hungry.

Donald Trump is doing whatever he can to keep vulnerable people hungry and scheming new ways to punish the states that want to keep them fed.

Thank you @ag.state.mn.us standing up for public. CFPB has stood strong to protect consumers & hold accountable entities that prey on public. Republicans rewarding cronies by obliterating agency has returned > $19B to consumers, financial relief to 195m Americans, & assessed $5B in civil penalties.
I have strongly supported the CFPB, as both AG and a member of Congress and I don’t intend to stop. Attorneys general have broad powers in state and federal law to protect consumers, and I will use all the tools available to me to protect Minnesotans from financial harm.

#TrumpIsFailing He is destroying our economy; small businesses, in particular, are getting trashed by his insane delusional tariffs that have no basis in strategy or logic.

Miller and Trump want to fuel bigotry. Like dictators before him, Trump’s road to tyranny is paved with stones hurled at “them.” His entire project depends on hate.

But America is better than Trump and his chief bigot. https://robertreich.substack.com/p/stephen-millers-latest-bigoted-bullshit

That’s where the culture wars come in handy. Distract people with fear so that they tolerate the money grab from tax policies that favor the wealthy and deregulation of consumer protections.
America has 925 billionaires as of this year. Collectively they have a record $6.9 trillion in wealth.

The bottom 50% of Americans control $4.2 trillion in wealth.

When 925 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.
